South Asheville Real Estate
South Asheville is the most difficult part of Asheville to sum up neatly. It is so much to so many. It has new, friendly neighborhoods with children playing in the streets and historic farms where Texas Longhorn cattle can be seen grazing lazily. Most residents enjoy a day outside at Fletcher Park (above) and avid cyclists can take long rides in the Cane Creek countryside. The French Broad River, Lake Julian and North Carolina Arboretum are all nearby and offer unlimited recreational opportunties. Though not strictly South Asheville, the Biltmore Estate is easily accessible from South and offers an annual pass that is well-worth it for use of 10,000 acres of hiking and biking trails.
